Psychotherapy, CBT, & EMDR in Bucks & Online

Fully Accredited Psychotherapist in Bucks & Online

About Me

Hello, I’m Aisha Banfield, a fully accredited psychotherapist with over 11 years’ experience supporting adults, children, and young people through life’s most challenging moments.

My journey in mental health began at just 18, working in forensic units and private hospitals, where I developed a deep respect for the complexity of people’s inner worlds. Since then, I’ve worked across a range of settings, including the NHS, social services, and specialist services like CAMHS (Helios), supporting young people and families navigating emotional and psychological distress. These experiences have shaped my holistic, person-centred approach to therapy.

At the heart of my work is the belief that every individual has the capacity to grow and heal, with the right support, space, and tools. I offer a safe, compassionate environment where you or your child can explore what’s going on beneath the surface and begin making sense of difficult thoughts, feelings, or behaviours.

Whether you're feeling anxious, stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of who you are, I work collaboratively with you to create a tailored plan that fits your goals and your pace. Using CBT, EMDR, and integrative psychotherapy, I help people move forward with more confidence, clarity, and self-understanding.
